1. Made to Order

Each artwork or product offered in our shop is manufactured exclusively to order in our partner workshops based in the European Union (Poland). This production method ensures rigorous quality control and authenticity of each piece.

2. Production and Shipping Timeline

The average timeline between order and final delivery to your address or freight forwarder is estimated between 15 days and 3 weeks, distributed as follows:

  • Manufacturing and quality control: 7 to 14 business days
  • Packaging and preparation: 2 to 3 business days
  • Transport and delivery: 3 to 7 business days depending on destination

These timelines are indicative and may vary depending on the period, order volume, and carrier availability.

3. Delivery Zones and Methods

MONUMENTA offers FREE delivery in all the following zones:

3.1 Continental Europe

Direct delivery to your address (residential or business)

Covered countries: All European Union member countries (27 countries), excluding Switzerland and Norway.

  • FREE delivery directly to your home or business
  • Timeline: 15 days to 3 weeks
  • Delivery to ground floor or doorstep

3.2 European Islands

Delivery to freight forwarder or continental port

For European islands (Corsica, Balearics, Cyclades, Crete, Sardinia, Sicily, Greek islands, etc.), MONUMENTA delivers your sculpture free of charge to a freight forwarder or continental port of your choice.

  • FREE delivery to continental freight forwarder/port (Le Havre, Marseille, Genoa, etc.)
  • Timeline: 15 days to 3 weeks to freight forwarder
  • You must provide complete freight forwarder address when ordering
  • Final maritime transport to island is your responsibility (cost and organization)
  • We can recommend freight forwarders if needed

3.3 French Overseas Territories

Delivery to continental freight forwarder

For French Overseas Departments and Regions (Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint Martin, Saint Barthélemy, Marie-Galante, Les Saintes - excluding Pacific zone), MONUMENTA delivers your sculpture free of charge to a continental freight forwarder.

  • FREE delivery to continental freight forwarder (typically Le Havre)
  • Timeline: 15 days to 3 weeks to freight forwarder
  • You must provide complete freight forwarder address when ordering
  • Final maritime transport to overseas territories is your responsibility (cost and organization)
  • Most overseas customers already have a regular freight forwarder
  • We can recommend freight forwarders if needed

3.4 Non-Covered Zones

Currently, MONUMENTA does not directly deliver to the following zones:

  • Switzerland and Norway (outside EU - complex customs)
  • Pacific zone overseas territories (French Polynesia, New Caledonia, Wallis and Futuna)
  • Countries outside European Union and French overseas territories

4. Payment Terms

Due to the custom-made nature of each creation, full payment is required upon order validation.

Accepted payment methods: credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and wire transfer

Important: Payment immediately starts the manufacturing of your piece. In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code regarding personalized goods, refund is only possible in case of product damaged during transport or manifest error in the order.

5. Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped, a tracking number will be sent to you by email. All shipments are insured and tracked to their final delivery point (your address or freight forwarder).

6. Receipt and Inspection

For Continental Europe (direct delivery):

Our sculptures are professionally packaged with multiple layers of protection. Always accept the package, even if the outer carton shows signs of wear or tears - the sculpture inside is generally intact.

If the carton is visibly damaged, take photos and note a simple reservation on the delivery slip: "standard reservation, damaged carton".

Unpack carefully following our instructions (see Section 7). If damage is found on the sculpture itself, contact us with photos within 48 hours at contact@monumenta.com

After this 48-hour period or in the absence of notification, the sculpture is considered compliant and definitively accepted. Damage caused by improper unpacking (box cutter, sharp objects) cannot be covered.

For European Islands and Overseas Territories (freight forwarder delivery):

Your freight forwarder must inspect the package upon receipt at the continental port/warehouse following the same procedure. Any reservations must be noted immediately and communicated to us within 48 hours. Once the sculpture has left the freight forwarder for its final destination, MONUMENTA can no longer be held responsible for damage during maritime transport.

7. Unpacking Instructions - VERY IMPORTANT

WARNING: Our artworks are made of resin and require delicate handling.

When unpacking:

  • NEVER USE box cutters, knives or sharp objects near the resin surface
  • Open the package carefully, away from the artwork
  • Use your hands or round-tip scissors to remove protective films
  • Resin marks and scratches easily - any contact with a sharp object will leave permanent marks
  • Any damage due to improper unpacking cannot be covered.

8. Returns and Right of Withdrawal

Due to made-to-order manufacturing, products cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded, except in case of:

  • Product damaged during transport (reported within 48h)
  • Manifest error in received order

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to consumer specifications or clearly personalized.

9. Liability and Maritime Transport

For deliveries to European islands and overseas territories, MONUMENTA's liability ends upon handover of the sculpture to the continental freight forwarder. The customer is responsible for organizing and paying for final maritime transport, as well as any damage occurring after departure from the freight forwarder. We strongly recommend purchasing maritime transport insurance for the sculpture's value.

10. Quality and Commitment

Each piece is the result of meticulous work and manufacturing respectful of European quality standards. We commit to guaranteeing the integrity of materials used in each creation and ensuring secure delivery to the agreed delivery point.
